Aphorism 7 / Self / Setting Goals for Misery 


When setting a future path people tend to ask themselves, “how do I want my life to look in the future…what are my goals?” when they should be asking “what makes me happy now and what can I expect will make future me happy?” Posing the question this way will avoid setting goals out of ambition that may serve to make you miserable both in the work to obtain them and in the results once obtained.
